Terms and Conditions

By joining the Jersey Shore Link Exchange, members must agree to the following terms and conditions. Anyone violating these terms will be removed from the Jersey Shore Link Exchange without any obligation by the Jersey Shore Link Exchange to redeem any earned credits. By joining, members agree to the following:

• Members agree to insert the HTML code provided by the Jersey Shore Link Exchange for displaying banner ads on their web site, in as many or few pages as they wish. The HTML code on your pages should look similar to the code supplied during signup. (It's OK to alter the general appearance to match the "look" of your site, but don't change the addresses!). The Jersey Shore Link Exchange reserves the right to verify the placement and correctness of its HTML code. (e.g., The page pointed to by the URL listed in the account information must contain the HTML code at a minimum.)

• Members acknowledge that the Jersey Shore Link Exchange is a free service supported by its members. At any given time, the banner on a member's web site may contain an advertisement from another member or from the Jersey Shore Link Exchange.

• All Jersey Shore Link Exchange banners must be placed on a page such that the majority of people visiting that page will see and notice the banner. A default banner will be used until a properly formatted one is supplied.

• A member may not artificially inflate traffic counts to his/her site using a device, program, or other means. A member may not display more than one Jersey Shore Link Exchange banner on any page. A member may not include the banner on any page that automatically reload or go to another page without interaction from the user (i.e., client pull or server push).

• The Jersey Shore Link Exchange retains ownership and all rights to the Jersey Shore Link Exchange name, logo, software, databases, reports, web site, and information.

• Members acknowledge and agree that their web site information (name, URL, traffic counts, etc.) may be utilized by the Jersey Shore Link Exchange. Possible uses include (but are not limited to) lists of the busiest sites, lists of member sites, etc.

• All members agree to utilize the services of the Jersey Shore Link Exchange at their own risk. The Jersey Shore Link Exchange, its administrators, partners and members cannot be held liable for any damage or loss of information that may occur from the use of the services of the Jersey Shore Link Exchange.

• Although we will make a reasonable effort to provide a high standard of quality for our services, the Jersey Shore Link Exchange makes no guarantees of any kind regarding the dependability, accuracy, or timeliness of the services of the Jersey Shore Link Exchange.

• The Jersey Shore Link Exchange name, logo, software, databases, reports, web site, and information are proprietary and cannot be used without permission from the Jersey Shore Link Exchange. However, each member has the right to use information obtained by the Jersey Shore Link Exchange on the site or in the promotion of the site.

• A member may cancel their membership in the Jersey Shore Link Exchange at any time by sending a cancellation notice to linkexchange@lonekeep.com and removing the Jersey Shore Link Exchange HTML code from their website. The cancellation notice should have the URL of the banner ad to be removed.

• The types of sites allowed to participate in the the Jersey Shore Link Exchange are about the Jersey Shore or from individuals and businesses in the Jersey Shore Area.

• The following types of sites are NOT allowed to participate in the the Jersey Shore Link Exchange network: Sites containing pornographic material, sites with links to pornographic sites, sites encouraging illegal activity or racism, sites providing instructions or discussions about performing illegal activities, sites engaged in libelous or harassing activities, sites that promote or utilize software or services designed to deliver unsolicited e-mail, sites that are otherwise inappropriate. The Jersey Shore Link Exchange reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine whether sites may participate in the Jersey Shore Link Exchange.

• The Jersey Shore Link Exchange reserves the right to modify, or change these Terms and Conditions as it deems necessary.
